Dear Mr. Gwertzman:
Your recent article on Nixon's memoirs said
"In South Vietnam, captured by North Vietnam in 1975, there has been a
vast re-education campaign but no 'bloodbath'". Isn't it a bit 1984ish
to describe putting hundreds of thousands in concentration camps as
merely "a vast re-education campaign"? Could you not be more precise
about such important matters?
